First weekend of lessons for the eight aspiring shepherds at the Officine di Capodarno Training Centre, in Casentino. The first module, managed by Dr. Roberto Funghi of the Rete Appia Association, dealt with the issue of how to start a livestock activity and, without being too discouraged, how to cope with the many authorizations that current legislation requires. A subject far from the classic image of the shepherd, surrounded by his animals in some beautiful mountain pasture, but no less important for this. A total of 13 hours of lessons with a specific focus on starting the dairy business, particularly appreciated by the students. During the Saturday morning, as part of the press conference to present the School, held as part of the LIFE ShepForBio project, the final data relating to the requests for participation in the School were communicated.
