Between August and October, as part of the project GarfagnanaGreenLand. Strategies for a sustainable local community, promoted by the Unione Comuni Garfagnana and funded by the PNRR M2C1-I-3.2 Green Communities, a series of meetings and training activities are planned to promote a local fiorume supply chain. The events have been organised in collaboration with LIFE ShepForBio.
Fiorume can in fact represent an economic resource for local businesses; the production and marketing of fiorume is facing an increasing demand for native and certified seeds, not only for environmental restoration projects, which are expected to increase in the coming years with the approval of the Nature Restoration Law, but also in the context of infrastructure projects and works.
The event is sponsored by AIPIN, the Italian Association for Naturalistic Engineering, and accreditation for professional training has been requested for agronomists, foresters and agricultural experts.
